Just had to share this with people who would understand.

I finally got a good deal on a KA this weekend and the lady called to say it has arrived and I can pick it up.

My 'good friends' think I'm nuts about being this happy for 'just a mixer' but I know you guys would understand my excitement.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh I know the feeling , Going for my third by Christmas "I hope" I was walking by admiring them at Kohl's Saturday and my daughter ran past the appliances and two other girls came by laughing saying I don't like appliances either. I said what is the matter with the young woman of today they don't get excited over appliances. They all laughed and said let the guys do it..................... icon_lol.gificon_lol.gif

Congrats!!!! I know the feeling. My hubby surprised me with a red artisan for my birthday! When he asked what I wanted, I said, " a red Kitchaide mixer....or a tuurntable....." Well, I really didn't think I'd get either!!!! Makes life so much easier, No? Have fun!

My DH (who by the way also thinks I'm nuts), said he felt the bowl looked small. But 4L of batter is alot of batter. I sure hope he's not right.

One of my girlfriends asked what else does this expensive mixer do 'cause at that price she hope it can mince and blend as well.....trust her to understand the cake world!!!! icon_confused.gif
