Anyone else making Veteran day cakes.. I made my 3rd cake tonight and I think it looks ok, since Im still limited on skill and tips. On a 1/4 sheet cake I made a flag in one corner followed by soldier dog tags with the chain hanging down inscribe with Jane Doe and John Doe. I then did the border and Happy Veterans Day in yellow. It was too bad for my first I will post it later (once I get my pic developed..hope Santa brings a digital.

My transfer didnt turn out quite as good as that one unfortunately! But I really think they will like it. Also you can look under the 4th of July cakes in the gallery to get some patriotic ideas.
