Need Buttercream Flavoring Opinions...kind Of Quickly!

So, I'm making a carrot cake for a friend and he said no to cream cheese frosting because he's lactose intolerant. I asked him about butter and that's okay....so I use the Decorator's Buttercream and need to substitute the milk for something else. I was planning on using a coffee creamer.
What flavor do you think will go best in my buttercream on carrot cake?? Hopefully I won't have any trouble finding the "picked" flavor!
