I know this may have been asked before, but is there anything that can be done when your pillars, plates, etc. yellow? And, if they are yellowed do you still use them?

I had a few that started to turn yellow and I just bleached them and they came clean. Just remember to wash them with hot soapy water after you bleach them to remove all the bleach and get them good and clean.

I've also been told that simply putting them in bright, warm sunshine will do the trick...of course this time of the year that might be tricky to do. LOL

I know someone who had some really old columns that had yellowed (like 15 years old)When her daughter got married, she just used white spray paint on them. They looked just like new. It got me to thinking about using colored paint to make a different look. Havn't tried it myself yet, but it worked for her.
