Ok, so my hunny's birthday is comin up (November 2icon_cool.gif. I need some ideas as to what to do for his cake. I would like to do the Raiders shield, but I gotta find a pan that shape. He's very much into offroading and wrenching, poker and Raiders. Any unique ideas would be great!!! Thank you!

You could probably cut a sheet cake to look like the sheild, or do a FBCT of the sheild and logo.

...what does he offroad with? You could do a hill with his rig going up the side...make some mud or something...you could cover the hill with chocolate MMF...look in my photos for the mountain I did with a creek running down the side. Just a thought icon_wink.gif

He has a Jeep Cherokee. I've seen the Wrangler cakes, never a Cherokee though. If anyone has a good idea for a Cherokee that'd be AWSOME!! That's my first choice there but I forgot to ask in my original post.

My husband and I jeep as well. I have Wilton's jeep cake pan. I made two jeep cake layers and put chocolate ganache in the middle, then up the sides put chocolate frosting, dark and light to make it look like mud,,,and choco shavings for dirt. There was a buncha people celebrating with us so I wanted it bigger than just the one layer. Good luck with yours!

That's easy, just order some Americolors from right here in the CC Shop! They are great! Janice

Well just wanted to post an update! I got the Cherokee pan on time (Thank you for the link!!!!) and on Thanksgiving afternoon I made his cake so we could celebrate with the family after dinner. I only had about 3 hours to bake the cake and create it, so it was a quick and speedy effort, not near as nice as I wanted it to be. I used Wilton Black and it didn't get black, so I did what I could with the grays and browns-pre made icing out of the carton because I didn't have time to make it ahead of time icon_rolleyes.gif . Here's a pic of it with the candles, unfortunately we didn't get one after we took the candles off thumbsdown.gif Tried to give it the 'on the rocks and in the mud' look icon_razz.gif
