Could Someone Tell Me What Gumtex Does?

I thought you could add gumtex to fondant to make it dry better..like gum paste, but now I am not sure what it does exactly.

If you add gumtex to fondant, it makes it like gumpaste.. it dries faster than fondant by itself would do
