For My class preview this weekend I am using styrofoam balls, and crayola model magic then I will Ice them with Royal Icing. I'm also using the new silicon cup cake holders. only thing I could think off that might work.

There is a great site for WMIs that has all kinds of ideas and info on different things. If you aren't already a part of it and would like the link send me a PM and I will get it to ya.
On the Michaels WMI site they suggest using styrofoam balls or a sugar mold. I think I'm going to do rice crispy treats.
I am using the plaster of paris method for the display. Although the rice crispie treats sounds like a great idea for decorating the day of preview. My current issue is now the stand is nowhere to be found. Oh well looks like I will be searching the store and classroom till I find the hidden stand. Good for the mind I guess.
