Substitute Sweetex For Crisco?

Can I substatute sweetex for crisco in Toba's fondant recipe? i didn't want to run to the store for a 1/2 tsp of crisco. icon_sad.gif

Sweetex can be used just like Crisco except that you can't use it for frying. I use it for cookies, pie crusts etc. and can't see any difference.

Thanks for going through the old posts Baileygirl! I forgot I asked this. I had my son run to the store for a small can of crisco. It's good information to have, I won't need to run to the store the next time I run out. icon_lol.gif
