I want to do a football field cake for a coworker this Saturday, and I was wondering if covering the top with green buttercream is going to stain people's mouths when they eat it. I know black and navy discolor mouths and teeth, but does green do anything?

I can't use fondant b/c the birthday girl doesn't like fondant.

Should I just airbrush it green?

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Thx.

Jenn

I know if you put alot of coloring in it will turn your teeth and lips ect..green, but it will wash off. I made a leggo cake for grandson and used so much coloring in the icing everyone had red, blue, green, and yellow teeth (which ever color block they ate). I have never used the spray so can't help you there. I am sure some here can help you.
