The video is really great at showing you how to do it.

You do the corners first, then the sides. I did my first sheet cake in fondant a few weeks ago and honestly, it's much easier than a round cake for me. The corners really aren't hard and the flat sides are a breeze. I much prefer doing a square vs a round cake!

Great tip. When I did my first (& only) cake in fondant a few weeks ago, it seems that I got a fold in the fondant. It was a 6" and 10" round. any tips on how to avoid that fold?

Well, let me just reach into my bag of videos for you icon_wink.gif

I got buckles in my fondant, too till watching these. Watch how the demonstrators kind of "fluff" the fondant as they smooth it down the sides of the cake.
