I saw this cake on a wedding cake site and thought it was awesome but how do they do it?

I love that site. they are actually located about an hour from me! I have done several cake slice cakes. I carved them from round cakes. Mine have more square corners and one of them I did for my daughter I should have staggered the "slices!"
