I have just started baking my cakes at 300 degrees and I use baking strips on all my cake pans. My cakes only rise half of what they should!! icon_mad.gificon_mad.gif They come out so moist but short! Is it that I am baking them at 300 degrees??? I use box mixes.

The lower temp would result in a higher cake, if the temp was too low it would be a fallen cake, so im guessing thats not it. Other than that, can't help you, don't bake from the box. icon_smile.gif
