I will gaining another customer. The lady said the last cake she got was pretty....but......The lady who made the cake along with her husband both smoke. She said the smoke taste in the cake was so bad she had to throw it away. No offense to smokers, but why would you do that?
Yikes! That doesn't seem too sanitary. If you smoke, that's one thing, I'm just not too sure you should do it in the kitchen when you're preparing food for others. ![]()
Did the lady who had to pitch her cake complain or anything? I'b be curious how the gal who made the cake responded.
Yikes! I had a similar situation this summer trying to keep the forest fire taste off my cakes. Believe me when I say I was doing everything in my power to prevent the transfer of that particular "enhancement". I can't believe that anyone who does this seriously wouldn't take the same precautions. Especially with something that can be controlled ![]()
People who smoke can't smell it or taste it. They probably didn't even realize they were ruining their cake!
That's true. The lady who bought the cake did not complain but she tells everyone else who wanted a cake from that lady not to buy one. It only takes one dissatisfied customer. This lady works at a junior high school so she knows lots of people. So...when I do a cake for her I will be a nervous wreck!!!
