hello..I am doin my first wedding cake this weekend...And I recommend a 6,8,10 inch cakes...she is taking the 6 inch home..and we will have a half slab in the back...Not sure how many servings that is?...Now wondering if that is enough. Yikes..She is having 250...but it is NOT the desert. It is just a extra and there is pizza and more food put out at that time. Please help me ...I couldnt' seem to find it here...duh? It will be 4 inches tall...So I assume it makes more servings right?
Thank you very much, I told her $2 a serving...so I should find out...thank you !!! NIcole
I personally don't like the Wilton chart. My husband says if you go by their sizes you're lucky if you get to taste the cake! LOL
I saw a post on here a while back for a website for Earlene Moore. She apparently didn't like Wilton's chart either and came up with one of her own. Here is the link. I hope it works. These pieces are a little more "normal sized".
