Okay so it seems like so many people here on CC are trying to lose weight (and make cakes at the same time - we're all crazy! LOL) Anyway, I was wondering what you all consider a great workout program. I know there's a ton on late night TV and it's so hard to figure out if those programs are actually good!!! I know that some are.... I do Turbo Jam and it's been pretty fun. I have kept weight off but I haven't really lost any...... it's got some good music though and is fairly motivating so I've kept up with it pretty well - but I could use some new videos!! I'm wondering if there's "life after Turbo Jam"....... I'd love to get really toned so I'm thinking about the Power 90 series or Slim in 6...... anyone tried those? Or do you have another workout to recommend? I really need cardio workouts that are NOT step workouts (Blech!) and that don't get really really old really really fast! Any good ones out there?

I use Biilly Blanks Taebo videos. I really like them. Of course my brother says it's because of the punching and kicking.

I use Leslie Sansone "Walk away the Pounds" . I do the 2 mile walk 5 days a week, and It only takes 35 minutes to do. I also do 40 abs after the video everyday. I already lost 28 pounds, I'm very happy!! thumbs_up.gif

I run about 3 days a week, and then alternating days I do "Firm" dvds. I LOVE them! www.firmdirect.com. I got mine at Target though.

I do a bunch of different things because I use to be a aerobics instructer and personal trainer, but that was in a past life! I mainly do cardio 3 days a week and strength train 2-3 days a week, I have to sqeeze in workout time now with everything else so I don't have as much time I'd like.

I also like the firm series videos many of them are about 30 mins. which is all the time I have and they incorporate cardio and weights, collagevideo.com is a great resource for workout videos and dvds. You can request a catalong and see clips of the videos on the website. Also if anyone has a netflix membership, they also have workout dvds, I like to get them from netflix or the library to try them out first before purchasing.

I love the convenience of exercising with videos, especially when its too cold to walk.
