Does anyone know how to make these cookies...I have an idea, but I want to be sure...My belief is that you use rice paper and attach it to the icing....Like attaching the edible images to the cookes....But is there a certain type of icing that I use to ice the cookie...so, that it will be sturdy enough to color on ( with edible markers) and is rice paper the best to use for this type of project..

Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi...I know that Wilton's Ice-A-Cookie dries hard enough for you to write on with edible pens. I am not sure exactly what you are talking about concerning the rice paper. I have also looked online for other cookie icings and found several...I used one that contained clear Karo syrup...and the icing dried hard and shiny.

Thank you for your response...I'm referring to the cookies that you can buy...some have characters on them and they come with a set of markers so that you color in the character...I've seen them in grocery stores and places like wal-mart and target....I would like to try and make my own...That's where the rice paper or other types of edible sheets come in..I'm wondering if a picture..kind of like a coloring page could be printed on the edible paper and then placed on the cookie to be colored in...

I have also seen these cookies at the grocery store. I am not exactly sure what icing you would use...but I know edible images can be placed on top of cookies. I would look online and see what you find...or you could PM lisa...she knows everything about edible imaging! Sorry I could not be more help. icon_smile.gif
