stencils. Hello everyone, I am very new to this site and to cake decorating, however within a few "seconds" I knew I had struck pure "GOLD!" icon_biggrin.gif This hobby is VERY addicting!!! Anyhow, I was viewing the wedding cakes on this site and I saw a very elegant square cake and it had like a diamond/quilted pattern on the frosted cake. My question is, where can I get this stencil or is it an actual technique? This pattern is beautiful and I won't rest until I know how to this on my cakes! icon_lol.gif

I'm not sure what you saw but it sounds like an impression mat. They can be purchased at cake supply stores or online. I know Earlene's site sells them as well as others. HTH
