I'm in the process of freezing my first cake too. Here's a recent thread that will help you. They say you are supposed to leave it wrapped up so the condensation forms on the outside of the wrapping (instead of on the cake). Good Luck on your cake!

Thanks guys, I knew I would get quick help! The last time I did it, I left them wrapped and they were mushy on the bottom. awolf, I'm thinking that filling while frozen may be a good idea, these are wedding cake layers. But will them thawing affect the filling?
