I have some Buttercream I just found hiding in the fridge that is about 2 weeks old. It's a butter/shortening mix and HAS been refridgerated the whole time. Is it still good to use? Can I mix it in with some new buttercream I'm making and not poison anyone? I'm taking treats to my students at school tomorrow and want to use it up if possible.... but lawsuits from parents with poisoned kids? NO THANKS!!! icon_surprised.gif

No you won't poison any one. I have left my buttercream on the counter for up too six weeks and still used it. And my family is still here eating my left overs..... icon_lol.gif
