How Do I Make "hay" Color Icing?

I am doing a John Deere tractor and need to make hay. What colors would you use to make a realistic hay?

When I make blonde hair color, I start out with yellow frosting and add a tiny bit of brown. I picture hay to be about that color.

I use Americolor gold gel for hay and similar colored things. Before that, I used Wilton Winnie the Pooh gold, but I don't know that's available any more.
