I'm thinking of offering cookies to be given as favors at a wedding. My only concern is how far in advance I can make and decorate them. I'll also be doing the wedding cake, and I'd like to have the cookies done before I start on the cake. How long do the cookies keep and still taste ok?

Thanks!

I know that you can bake, then freeze them. Not sure if you can decorate then freeze. Probably depends on the type of frosting, also. HTH.

I think if you keep them in an airtight container, after completely drying of course, they'll be good for up to a week. HTH

I've done them up to a month in advance. Just wrapped them in individual celo bags with the twist tie, and they were fine. I also know some professional bakers who have said the same thing.

It sounds like I shold be fine if I make the cookies about a week in advance. Thanks so much!
