So today I made my first topsy turvy cake, and about halfway through, I started wondering.
Have any of you gotten Tom Petty's "Don't Come Around Here" song stuck in your head while decorating topsy turvy/mad hatter type cakes?
Just wondering
I had it stuck in my head for a few hours, the whole time I was working on it!
Really? It was really popular when it came out - and for years afterwards, but I haven't heard it in years! Of course, I watched a TON of music videos growing up.
Here's the video on youtube:

I just uploaded a photo of the cake. Not bad for a first try, I think! I hadn't carved / unbalanced layers before!

If it helps get the song out of your head, the video that always comes to my mind is Gwen Stefani's What You Waiting For"

DAMN YOU!!! LOL.
I didn't even have to look at the link - I know the video well. And yes, that song has now replaced Tom Petty. Hahah!
I just uploaded a better view of that cake: http://www.cakecentral.com/cake-photo_1012963.html
