What are the advantages/disadvantages to having a bowl lift model versus a tilting head model?

I have the one where the head of the mixer lifts. I LOVE it. I have heard it's more of a pain in the butt to have the bowl lift, but operation wise I think they are the same.

I wish I had the head of the mixer lift type, but I don't know if they make the big mixers with that.

I don't know if there are any significant differences.

the tilt head makes it easier to get the ingredients into the bowl because the paddle/beater are out or the way. with the bowl life model, the mixer head is in the way and getting the ingredients in can be difficult, especially if you're pouring ingredients from a bowl.

I've used both kinds but I own a tilt head. I think they can be equally messy.
I'm convinced that every mixer is made to dust you and your entire kitchen with powdered sugar regardless of how slowly you turn it on.
