I don't think I'm going to be very helpful...You might be able to find some 'less sugar' recipes online or in the recipe list from here...but as for icing that is 'sugar-free' or less sugar...I doubt you will find any. I guess you could try using Splenda or something like that, but I think it all is in the texture of the sugar that helps with the frosting consistency...does that make sense? I have never seen a recipe for icing that didn't require icing sugar...I wonder if you tried going to one of the sweetener sites maybe they could help you.
