I have a cake that is due on Tuesday at 5:00 pm. Can I fill and cover my fondant cakes now? It is pretty cool at night here and thought about storing them on a covered enclosed porch. What can I do? Should I wait till Monday night...and can I keep the fondant covered cake in the refrigerator or wha??? Please help need quick answer. TIA

Christi

I *think* I've read some where that you shouldn't put fondant covered cakes in the fridge.

Here's another post on this. I've never stored a fondant cake myself, but figured I'd try to help!! I made a fondant cake myself, only once, and I left it out for a few days until it was eaten and it was just fine!
