okay, so my DD comes home from kindergarten everyday wanting me to send something to school to eat that starts with the "letter of the week"

for example last week was "P" and she was asking for anything

popcorn
pretzels

both of these P's came from the teacher, well i sent popcorn, BUT i couldn't think of anything else

(i also get hit up for movies, books, toys, games--anything that starts with that letter)

THIS WEEK IS "A" & i said what in the world does a kid eat that starts with "A"--duh dunce.gif my DH said apples

so i'm gonna start with

A - apples ------can anyone else think of anything else that starts with "A"

alphabet soup
angelfood cake
almonds

And here I have to fight my kids over the asparagus. icon_lol.gif

How about an applesauce cake? You may be able to find one that doesn't use eggs.

thanks everyone

she told me this morning that i had to go buy 2 bags of apples (so i told SIL to pick them up when she was in town today icon_biggrin.gif ) so i wonder what else the little ones gonna having me getting for the rest of the week (i believe she must think she's the only one that can bring something)

applesauce cake sounds so yummmy, i'm gonna see if i can find a recipe w/out eggs (i wonder if he has any other allergies-hmmmm)
