Does anyone know what this is or where I can get the recipe? I saw some cookies here that were so shiny and the lady said she used Tobas Icing and added some glyercine to it.

Gosh, now why couldn't I find that. Thanks so much. I actually tried something simular to that today for the first time and it is really glossy. Will try adding a little glycerine to it next time and see what happens.

I want to try icing cookies also. I read that for the royal icing to harden, you have to have meringie powder. Will Toba Garret's recipe harden so you can bag or stack the cookies? The ingredients seem so simple. icon_confused.gif

That's a good question TUG--I hope some one will give us the answer because I haven't tried her icing yet. From the sound of it, it sounds like anything Toba Garrett makes, has to be wonderful.
