If you decorate your cake the night before the party with fondant could it be stored in the refrigerator? I will have a cream cheese filling inside.

I would put anything that uses a cream cheese filling in the fridge. Fondant should be ok but condensation might form on it when you take it out. Just be sure not to touch it until it all evaporates and it will be fine.
