I would like a book about modelling (even if its a clay book)..... also I am really wanting to fix up my master bedroom, I have lived in my house 4 years and have always intended to redecorate it, but have done just about every other area in the house first! Soooo if I found a comforter or quilt set that I fell in love with (to be the inspiration for the rest of the room) I would definately put that on my list as well!

that must be some bed!!! When I bought my house I think they hired a company to come in and paint with a sprayer the entire house, this peachy white color (I suppose that was the neutral they picked).....and I had planned on painting the master bedroom FIRST because they got paint overspray all over the beams up in the vaulted ceiling (so now they need to be painted--they were just that rough wood look) anyway the people buying our house had problems (we didnt know about until the last minute) so closing got moved and then I had to be out of my old house and into the new one all in one day.......so no time for painting the "new" house.........now 4 years later, I wonder how I have painted pretty much the entire rest of the house but not my room....which was supposed to be first!)

yes our bed is what some would call SOME BED! LOL it is a king size solid mahogany sleigh bed ... and when we bought our house everything was just primer so my dh asked me what paint I would want and I told him and he came here one night while I was at work and the next day my dad, brother, and dh moved our bed in piece by piece and then he brought me here when it was all set up as a surprise ... that was four years ago and nothing has changed since!

I have a few of those cast aluminum Nordicware pans on my list:
The Stadium, The Fairytale Cottage, and the Octopus (if it hasn't been discontinued).
And I want a gift certificate to pay for taking all the Wilton classes. I took Course I years ago, but nothing else, so I want to retake that, and then continue on through the rest.

I just bought my own KA pro600 mixer so can't ask for that anymore (been asking for one for 5 years)

I want my bf to come home from dubai early- but wont get that either

so Ill just be happy with getting a big tub of gumpaste and fondant and a good modeling book

Oh my gosh! What do you mean "If..." ?
(my mother always said "when in doubt if something is said as a compliment, just say Thank You)
I hope that was meant as a compliment icon_smile.gif
so...Thank You

I feel stagnant and want to clean up my technique and habits. For example, my buttercream roses are terrible and always have been. Recently I realized that I am doing them as a left hander is taught to do them. I am not left handed, maybe my instructor was. I don't remember. And I want to learn new methods and techniques... like color-flow, and especially fondant, which I have never even touched. I learn best by watching someone else.
I think we could each benefit from a refresher course now and then. We were required to take refresher courses fairly often when I was an ER nurse.

And all those courses would get me out of the house at least one night a week for a couple of months or more icon_wink.gif

I think the really nice flat cookie sheets are a good idea, but I just don't do a whole lot of cookie baking ... I do like the idea of the diamond impression mat though ..

All I've asked for is some more bowls for my KA. It's really annoying having to wash the bowl by hand just so I can make some icing after I make the cake. I'll probably get that and some money to go to Michaels and pick out my own stuff!
