Where Do You Get Your Plastic Characters From?

I don't want to spend $8 or more for the sets that you can buy for a cake. I don't really know where to find them for a reasonable price. I have found some in the Dollar Tree, but they are from China and I don't know if they are safe or not. Thanks
If you have a tax number, your best bet is Decopac or Bakery Crafts. Their figures are food grade plastic and sized appropriately for average cakes. They also come with the extra touches you need like trees or background pieces, etc. Average cost of licensed character kits is around $5. Decopac sells their kits by packs of 3 or 6, Bakery Crafts only sells theirs in 6 packs of kits. You might checks in your local supply shop if you have one, I sell them in my shop for $4.99 per kit and keep all the latest in stock. Sometimes the grocery store bakeries will sell them to you, it never hurts to ask, but it just depends. HTH -Lori
