I have been asked to make a cake that looks like a Cosmopolitan Martini I dont know if I want to try and make a 3 D cake using a very large Martini glass or just making a sheet cake with a cut out shape of a Martini any ideas? icon_confused.gif If I do use the Martini glass I would use the wonder pan and turn it upside down in the glass then decorate it with pink frosting any suggestion would be greatly appreciated. icon_smile.gif

you've got my wheels turning here.... i would DEFINITELY try to do a 3-D cake if it were me just for the "wow" factor. The use of the Wonder Mold pan comes to mind and invert it......... or take the easy way.... get a giant martini glass (i've seen them at dept stores) and fill them with a cosmo colored trifle......... icon_smile.gif thats's all i got... i'll post again if i can finish my wonder mold strategy!!!
back to my Tiffany Cake.......

ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh....well.... if I were to make a cosmo colored trifle, i would layer, broken red velvet cake and colored white chocolate pudding (pink or red) and put one of those candy fruit wedges on the edge of the giant martini glass......... and a drink umbrella, of course..... let me see if i can find a pic of what is going on in my brain here for you... lol icon_razz.gif

something like this but put it in a giant martini glass OR several regualr martini glasses and make sure its all red/pink items layered in it... put drink umbrella and a sugar coated candy fruit wedge on the edge of the glass(es). Voila! totally cute COsmo Themed dessert!
