I am completely new to this and I was trying to make the MMF from the articles and it is very dry do I keep mixing or do I add water is the normal until it sits overnight. I think I might be better off buying some already made.

Thanks for the help

I just used the alternative mmf recipe. I went by is exactly and it turned out great. I did let my sit for just a few hours and it was very pliable.

I know I have heard some refridge theirs overnight. I found with this recipe since it has crisco in it that I could wrap it in freezer paper and then plastic wrap and it was perfect in after a few hours after leaving it out on the counter.

I add water a teaspoon at a time. Make sure your hands are coated in Crisco - this will help.

After I made my first batch, I bought some SatinIce so I could compare the look, feel, and consistency. It really helped with my next batch.

You will get it! Keep trying!
