I just began doing cakes and have been buying boxes one by one, which is very expensive. Mostly I have been asked to do 6" and 8" rounds. What size cake box will I need to order for 8" rounds (I've used all mine, or else I would look on the boxes). Is it an 8 x 8 x 5 square box or a 10 x 10 x 5? Also, does anyone use cookie boxes? What dimensions do you buy? Thanks in advance for all your help.
For the cake box, it depends on your cake board. Do you leave a border? If I'm doing an 8" cake, I ususally use a 9" or 10" cake board. I would then use the same size box as the board so there would be no shifting. I get my boxes from a few places online. Here are a couple of links:

Thank you so much for those links. Boy, those prices are really great! Do you happen to ever sell cookies, rezzycakes? I'd like to order some cookie boxes but am unsure what size I need.
