Just wanted to share a cake I created for my husband's birthday...his favorite candy bar is a hershey's take five so I made a cake version of this. I baked a chocolate cake in a loaf pan, then torted it in 3 layers. I made a layer with caramel (caramel candys melted with evap. milk), a layer with Peanut butter (natural PB with powdered sugar and evap. milk), and a cookie layer (the original take five is a pretzel layer, but he likes the cookie version better). I just baked a recipe for chocolate sugar cookies into the shape of the cake and put the big "cookie" inbetween the layers. I then frosted the cake with a whipped ganache and poured a ganache ontop. I looked like a big candy bar! I took some into work and got a lot of compliments. I get so many ideas and tips here I thought I'll try to share some of mine. icon_biggrin.gif

How generous of you to share with your co-workers, I would still be shoving that heavenly creation down my throat... (Oh, sorry, it's not about me.)
