In order to put a picture on a cake, you would need to create an edible image using a Canon printer with edible ink cartridges and special frosting sheets. You would have to scan the photo and then print it on the frosting sheet using a graphics software program. However, once you scan the image, you can also use programs like Microsoft Word to print it. Here are two of the sites that can give you more information on this.

If you decide to invest in this equipment, don't buy the package deals. To me, they're just too expensive. Just buy the printer. I've downloaded pictures from my digital camera, imported from off the internet, etc. and printed on the edible frosting sheets. Now if you don't have a scanner, you can invest in one of those... However, the pricey scanners they offer with the package deals are just too high.. the cheaper versions work as well to me icon_smile.gif
