Need Help With Transporting Buttercream

I made a cake today and I'm supposed to take it to church for the ladies meeting. It is all buttercream icing. It is 96 with high humidity. I have it in the refrigerator right now, should I leave it there until time to leave(its a 25mins trip) and put it under the AC vent in my van? Or can I put it in the freezer for 30mins-1hr and then transport? I would hate for it to melt. Please help. This is my first cake made for anyone.
