I wasn't sure where to post this.... sorry if it's in the wrong area.
I've been asked by a very important little person for a Thomas Tank cake - and I'd love to create Debbie Brown's version for him. However, I need it in a couple of weeks, and I can only find copies of this book still for purchase not in America, I'd never get it in time.
Does anyone know where I might find it? Or have a copy you may be ready to sell?
I dont think that one is readily available. You could try the library.
I did make a Thomas cake though, here are some directions

Here is how my cake turned out.

Thank you so much Merissa, if all else fails, the tutorial I found on the link you gave me will work.
Your cakes are gorgeous!! I hope someday to be half that good!!
The Debbie Brown book I'm looking for is titled "Favourite Character Cakes".
Thanks guys!
It's called Favorite Character Cakes. Here's a big picture. You should be able to do it from this.

You may be able to get a library to interlibrary loan it for you, that's what I do when I need a cake book I don't own.
That Library catalog site is very cool! I'm glad you sent that -- I might be able to use that for many things!
Yes, it is. But that one is in Australia. I don't think I could get it shipped here in time for this cake. Thanks for looking, though.
How about this?
