I would like to do the duck cake shown in the most popular photos, sorry can't remember who posted it. Although I was going to frost it with buttercream the decorations: eyes, feet, bill, wings and just a ribbon around the neck will be done in fondant. Same height as the one posted. What would be a reasonable price? Thanks icon_biggrin.gif

I don't know how many it serves but for all 3D cakes I start my price at $3 a serving.

I made one (maybe like you are describing) http://www.cakecentral.com/modules.php?name=gallery&file=displayimage&pid=517453

I did mine for my nephew's birthday and I think it probably would have served 30 or so. I would charge at least 3 a serving. So probably $90 plus if I were to charge for it.

If you could link a picture to the one you are describing it would help.
