I am making a castle cake and don't know how to attach the mmf to the paper towell roll. I have tried several times but it just keeps sliding off. I am new at this...please help. The cake needs to be finished by morning.

Have you moistened the mmf with water? I have also heard of a "glue" with I think merrange (sp?) powder and water.

You could try piping gel.

You can mix a 1:1 ratio of water and meringue powder to use as an edible glue. Or I have heard of using corn syrup also.
