Ok so i have to admit, i've been using a generic bag and tip set i paid $4.99 for at a grocery store.....and i kept thinking, wow, i'm so bad at this i may as well quit before i get my hopes up too high......I couldn't take it anymore so i went out and bought a whole bunch of WILTON tips, bags and supplies. I covered some cardboard with wax paper and tested out the tips and they are FABULOUS!!!!! Even my writing looks nice! i am SO happy that i bought the RIGHT stuff.....i'm going to keep practicing as much as i can and hopefully by Mid december i can make my daughter's castle cake!! Wish me luck!

I just want to say that you all have been so wonderful with your welcome messages and tips and advice! This site really is addicting, I love it!!

Next purchase.....A MIXER!! so i don't get any more lumpy BC icon_biggrin.gif

Good luck! I just bought a KA today on ebay! I burnt out the motor on my other one. Can't be without one!

MY wonderful husband suprised me with a KA. He found a 5 Quart Pro. Lift mixer refurbished on Amazon and only paid about $190. That inculded shipping. It is warrantied to so no worries there. Great way to start out with one.

Mine was perfect! Just like my hubby icon_biggrin.gif
