Wooo Hooo! First Mmf, And Black As Night!

i DID IT! MY FIRST BATCH OF MMF! WOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOO. NO MORE WILTON!!!!! I made chocolate MMF (with giradelli chocolate and Hersheys dutch process dark cocoa and americolors superblack) and it's gorgeous! Sorry wilton, even with the discout i get, i'm forever doing mmf. by the way... any white you see in the pic is reflection of the plastic wrap or a streak of crisco off my hands from wrapping it. i am a happy little camper!
That is incredible! How much americolor did you use - the whole bottle? 
It looks awesome....the best I get is a murky gray. 
after melting my marshmallows and adding the tbls of processed dutch powder and the one ounce of ghiradelli chocolate i mixed and just squirted in till it was black. no clue how much i used. LOL. I added a little more after i added sugar but not much.
Americolor is awesome stuff huh? I love it!! Jackie and Heath have the best prices on it here on CC too... it's where I get all of mine from 
I made black mmf accidentally using dutch cocoa powder (hersheys dark) without any black coloring at all. If you scroll down to see my post a little way it will tell you the details in this old thread! Good luck all!
