I was wondering if anyone might be able to tell me an approximate amount of roses you can make out of a lb. of gumpaste? I have a bunch of new gumpaste tools, and I was going to make some flowers for a birthday cake, but didn't know how much gumpaste I'd need. Thanks for your help.

I really don't have an answer for you, but you can easily get a few dozen full blown roses out of a 1lb of paste. It does depend on how big the roses are and how thickly you roll the paste
