I know I have been MIA for a little bit - things have been a bit hectic lately so please forgive me.
my question
My daughters 3rd birthday is next week and we are having her party next weekend she picked Tinkerbell as her theme. I am running dry on ideas. I want something unique and not just a cake w/ an fbct on it. I want to WOW the crowd a little. Please look at my photos so you can get an idea of what I can do and help me with ideas. PLEASE I appreciate it!

You could always do like the barbie cake but do it like a tinkerbell with wings and stuff that would be really cute and you could do like a fbct of peterpan or something

The fbct would go on the other cake. There are tons of things you could do with tinkerbell if you have ever seen the movie you would have tons of ideas. You could do like tinkerbell in the woods or her sprinkling fairy dust with a wand but if i was going to do it I would do like the barbie cake and make fondant wings and a fandant wand and stuff like that.

How strange, it showed that it had gone through. I'll try again. I sent you a photo of a darling cake but it was made by a friend and I didn't want to post it on the board.

How did you make the wings and attach it the doll?

I made them out of gumpaste and dried them with a small bend in the center. I dusted them with some white lustre dust to give them sparkle. I used royal icing to stick the wings to the fondant on the back of her dress.
