Does Anyone Know How To Contact Distributors?
Business By DelectableCreations Updated 5 Sep 2007 , 5:42pm by DelectableCreations
I'm hoping this is ok to ask in a forum.. I made a big boo boo and posted something recently and it got deleted! I felt really bad for doing so.. and I hope that I don't do it again!
I am looking to start an online business and am having a very difficult time finding out how to contact certain vendors in regards to getting wholesale items. Such as cupcake picks, edible images, etc. As well as paperware (decorations, plates, etc) for Licensed Characters. Anyone with suggestions I would greatly appreciate the help!
THANK YOU ![]()
i believe Wilton has a 'wholesale' link on their website
For licensed characters I would contact both www.bakerycrafts.com and www.decopac.com these two companies have a wide variety for use in bakeries and for resale. They do have the proper licenses to resell the licensed characters in ways that the companies have approved.
If you are looking for coloring (americolor) fondant (satin ice, pettinence, etc..) buttercream (dawn foods) I would contact the makers themselves. They will be able to get you information for these
thank you all for your suggestions! i am a customer of decopac.. and purchase most of my items from them . though i wanted to make sure that i wasn't missing any wonderful companies that I hadn't run into in my searches. I have sent inquiries to wilton, sanrio ( for hello kitty items such as party supplies, etc) and i looked on the disney site as well and found SOME info on distribution... but no contact info to inquire on how to become a distributor.. I had the same issue with Nickelodeon! I do have a business license and have been sure to mention that I am a licensed company ![]()
Very eager to see where I can get with this ! So thank you all for your help! ![]()
