Just had a potiential customer call and said she has decided to go with some one else on her cakes, she was the one wanting 250 cupcakes which this was no problem she also couldnt decide if she wanted a cake 8in to just cut or a cookie from the cookie boquet, the price i quoted her was 1.50 for the cupcakes and 2.50 a serving for the 8in cake she seemed ok with it then she calls me saturday to see if i could just do cupcakes i said yes then she started saying she really didnt know if she wanted a cake or cookie to cut at the ceromony i told her what ever she decided to let me know and i would work with her, she emails me today and said she going with someone else dont know if they were cheapier or what but oh well win some loss some. im just sad i really would of liked to have done her cupcakes, she was kind of wishy washy with her decisions

Sorry to hear that...It is always dissapointing when things don't go the way we hope. You would have done an amazing job and it is probally better that she did choose someone else, now they have to deal with her wishy washy thoughts. Take Care. icon_wink.gif

I was bummed when I lost out on a cupcake wedding last fall. I still haven't gotten to do one yet. Don't worry, some times you just don't get the job. I'm sure that another one will come along soon! thumbs_up.gif

Sorry to hear that she went elsewhere, but I feel relieved for you that she informed you, and didn't leave you wondering why she hasn't called, if you are doing the cake, how to plan it and prepare, etc.

More opportunities will come.
