I know we read and share on here how we have bad days. Icing melting, fondant cracking, cakes falling etc....
And just those days where everything goes wrong...
Well I have a story that really says Having a Bad Day.....
I have a police scanner (hubby works for the county) and they had a call of a wreck on Main Street at a redlight. Seems this elderly man ran the red light and hit someone. Totaled his van, and he refused treatment from EMS, although he had visual injuries. So someone took him home. THEN....about 3 hours later he went back to town in his truck. He parked his truck in a parking lot and headed to the store, he turned around to see his truck rolling. He ran back to the truck to stop it, got hung up in the door trying to get in, and it drug him across the parking and into the building!!!! So he was injured again. The police were talking about having a really bad day and he should have stayed at home today.
Can you imagine having 2 wrecks on the same day? And totaling both of your vehicles. Try explaining that to your insurance company!!
My daughter is a insurance agent and she said she has seen someone take out a policy and have a wreck on the same day. But has never heard a story like that. I bet his insurance goes up!
Just thought I would share this with all of you. Next time we complain about a fallen cake, Remember.....it could always get worse!!!
Poor guy! I always get sad when bad stuff happens to old people. It's a wonder he's still alive. That happened to me about filing for insurance and having a wreck on that day. My dad was getting my insurance while I was running an errand and I called him crying while he was IN the insurance building.
poor guy was probably still shaken up so badly from the first wreck I know when I got in my bad wreck on the freeway I couldnt drive at all for a week and it took me nearly a year before I would go near that strech of freeway. still makes me nervous several years later.
