I have been asked to donate a few cakes for a Chirstmas Bazaar at my church. This is a perfect opportunity to get some of my "stuff" in front of a lot of people to drum up business (they told me to make sure I bring lots of business cards- and attach them to my cake).
Here's my problem:
I would love to do a small stacked cake with lots of decorations. So, how can I cover it so that no one breathes on it (or worse yet touches it) but have it fully viewable at the same time? Impossible?
I would appreciate any help!
Thanks!
Michelle
I was just thinking that one of those glass cloches that are slightly bell shaped would be good if the cake isn't too big....sending you a link to a picture...http://www.englishcreekgardens.com/Cloche1.htm
I have seen gumpaste flower arrangements under them in some magazine I read.
That's the only thing I could think of....
Have them placed on a back table? Even with large signs Do Not Touch there are always some morons who do not think that applies to them!
Find a large round table and place it in the middle with mini velvet ropes around it? LOL! Good Luck! ![]()
Can you do a dummy cake for display but have the cakes to be cut and served behind you?
i like the idea of a dummy cake cause we all know the world already has plent of dummy people ![]()
