I see tons of them at thrift stores or second hand stores. Cleaning should be easy with a mixture of bleach and water! They certainly are cheap too!

Dollar Stores generally have bunches of them.

Also think outside the box a bit. Some big box type stores have darling paint buckets - which make awesome baskets. My Meijer store has aluminum ones for $3-$4 each.

Contact a florist and see what they can do for you - if you're buying a ton of them, they might be willing to order some for you, with a cake or some cookies as an incentive for the help.

Michael's and Hobby Lobby often have sales on their baskets, as does JoAnn's. So any crafty type store might have what you're looking for.

Start looking around to see who has stuff that might work. Baskets can be cute but also can be quite pricey - which is why I suggested the paint buckets and thinking outside the norm.

I have a friend who buys the holiday plates at Target after the holidays are over for $1 each and uses those as part of her gift of cookies the following year.

good luck!

The Dollar Tree has lots of wicker baskets. They have already put out their Christmas wicker baskets which are very pretty.
