That's right, I will never leave Pillsbury again no matter what is on sale!!!! ![]()
I posted about my disaster using Better Crocker in the link below:

I had to do the whole cake again using Pillsbury(which I always use) except for this time because Betty was on sale and I needed so many boxes
well, lesson well learned...no more Betty for me ![]()
Saturday was my 30ish class reunion(we did classes 71-84) and I did the cakes for free advertising...nothing is free, my tired body paid the price. All the baking and decorating was done on Friday and Saturday ![]()

14, 10 and 6 round(original sizes were 16, 12 and eight) covered in fondant with ribbons; the top and bottom center pieces are real flowers, two cupcake cakes (100 cc on each) and a puppy dog (door prize) plus I was on the committee. As if that was not enough
, I did a Spiderman's cupcake cake for my great-nephew's birthday Sat. ![]()
I was suppose to be there at 4 p.m., well, I didn't make it on time...got there at 5:45...at least I did make it there![]()
Here are the pictures of the cakes. I forgot to take a picture of the puppy dog and Spiderman
so will post them when I get the copies.
Boy, never again, too much work for this old body ![]()

I have to post the pictures here because I can not get my pictures to post in the gallery...still having bug problems ![]()
Very nicely done Stephanie! Your cakes always look great! Sorry you had so much trouble with the BC. Take a much needed break! ![]()
More Pilsbury love here as well
It's always my first choice for cakes as well, followed by Duncan Heinz. Granted, I doctor up my boxes but I have the least problems with Pilsbury and it comes out the best tasting. ![]()
The only thing I buy from Betty Crocker is their pound cake mix (which I mix in with regular cake mix when I make 3-D cakes) and their coconut caramel icing for German chocolate cake.
Holy cow!!!
You did a great job!
Now go put your feet up! Just reading that is making ME tired! LOL![]()
