I'm baking maderia chocolate sponge cake, it calls for superfine sugar, what is that? All I have is granular and pwd sugar

it's just a finer grain of granulated sugar.......it's usually in a box at the grocery store near the regular granulated sugar! I use it when I make lemonade and for my coffee...because it dissolves quickly!

I put granulated sugar in the blender and grind it up fine. I use this for the maderia cake. Works out just fine.
